Deserving of some really awful title…

I’ve gained like forty-five pounds already in this pregnancy.  This is incredibly depressing.  I’ve never gained more than thirty-three pounds total.  At this point, there isn’t a whole lot I can do…the baby is still going to grow and I’m going to gain even more weight.  Ugh.  Not looking forward to what the scale will say at the end.

I know this sucks. I gained weight when I was pregnant for those 3 months and you can’t really do anything about it until your baby joins us. I finally am seeing results with cutting down on my wheat eating majorly and exercising regularly. Exercise partners are a big help. I can’t do this without a friend to encourage me. When your baby comes I would love to help each other out! 🙂

I’m glad I’m having the baby in the spring – it means going for walks afterwards. I don’t do so well going to the gym…alone or with someone else, but I do love to go walking. I’d be thrilled with a treadmill in my house someday..when I have space for it.

I’m not worried about taking the weight off – breastfeeding seems to be my ticket to losing it within six months, and I’m planning to go back on a modified South Beach diet afterwards. It’s mostly just the disappointment of gaining so much in pregnancy when I’ve always stuck to the 35 lbs or less rule – albeit unintentionally.

Ya for sure. I’d still love to go for walks with you sometimes. I need to do that as well as the gym stuff. I cut out wheat almost completely and I’m going to the gym 3 times a week and in 2 1/2 weeks I lost over an inch all around my body. Finally I figured out I’m somewhat gluten intolerant. I just can’t have it in my regular diet.
